Autobiography


I was born on Christmas Eve, 1980, in a small town in Surrey, England, called Haslemere. I spent my wee years in a tiny black house with 2 bedrooms and rose gardens in the back. When I was just shy of 3, we emigrated from England to Houston, Texas. As my brother and I grew up, we split our family time between Houston and Mount Desert Island, Maine, where the family eventually moved in 1999.

I made my first piece of jewelry when I was 18 years old - a rose gold ring with three sunstones. I still wear the ring most days, alongside other pieces that I have made.

Jewelry is my favorite art form; I find that I can express my inner "voice" in metal in a much clearer way than any of my other artworks.

I have lived in Austin, Texas since 1999 and although have traveled to Mexico, New York, Los Angeles and Maine, keep Austin as my home.
