Sometimes the wire is coiled in large circles along the tops of fences, and sometimes it simply strings along, bordering the land. In Texas history class, I learned that the invention of barbed wire meant the end to the open range, and that ranchers designed their own barbs to mark off their acreage. This ring comes from my imagination: a place where I think beauty and utility can be combined with great results. This ring is designed to be beautiful, striking and also pack a punch should you need to use it. The silver is work-hardened and the ring is designed in the shape of an eye socket.
